Help me decide (AI conversation)
An opt-in chat with the app's AI about an item you're unsure of. The AI's role is to help you think it through, never to push you toward letting go.
Where: Item detail page, and after marking high-attachment items as Keep
When to use it
Use it when an item has a knot in it that quick decisions can't untangle. Common cases: items connected to a person you've lost, gifts you feel guilty releasing, things you might use 'someday', and items that feel like part of who you are.
How to use it

Open any item from a room or the decision queue.

Tap the 'Help me decide' button.
It's the same flow that's offered automatically when you Keep a high-attachment item — but it's available any time you want.

Read the AI's opening question and respond when you're ready.

Continue the back-and-forth as long as it's useful. There's no required length.

When you're ready, tap one of the outcome chips at the bottom of the chat to make your decision.
If the conversation didn't shift anything, Keep is still there.

What to expect
- The AI asks questions — it doesn't lecture. It validates feelings before it surfaces alternatives.
- You can end the chat at any point. Closing the screen doesn't lose your messages — they're saved.
- Whatever decision you make at the end is recorded as a normal outcome change. The chat history stays attached to the item, so you can re-read it later.
