Perfectionism

The drive to make exactly the right choice — especially common in hoarding-related difficulty, where it can paralyse decisions about even minor objects.

Perfectionism in this context is rarely about high standards in the everyday sense. It's about the fear of regret: choosing the wrong outcome and being unable to undo it. The brain treats every release as potentially permanent and irreversible.

Outcomes in Octolet are reversible up until the physical action — and even after, the audit log and memory keeper exist so the meaning is preserved. Imperfect decisions are recoverable.
