Set up and manage rooms

Rooms are how the app organises your belongings. Add the spaces that matter, give each one an icon and an optional photo, and mark them complete on your own terms.

Where: Rooms tab, and during onboarding

Add rooms

  1. 1

Open the Rooms tab and tap the + button.

  2. 2

Type one or more room names. Separate names with commas to add several at once.

Example: 'Hallway, Lewis's bedroom, Loft' adds three rooms in one go.

  3. 3

Tap Add — the count adjusts to show how many you're adding.

Add Room modal with comma-separated names and the dynamic count button.

Customise a room

  1. 1

Open the room and tap the pencil icon in the header.

  2. 2

Edit the name, pick an icon from the curated set, add a description.

  3. 3

Optionally add a room photo from camera or gallery. The thumbnail shows in the header and is tappable to open in a lightbox.

  4. 4

    Save changes.

Mark a room complete

Completion is something you decide, not something the app decides for you. You don't need every item to be resolved.

  1. 1

    Open the room.

  2. 2

Scroll past the items and tap 'Mark Room Complete'.

  3. 3

If undecided items remain, you'll see a soft warning — you can mark it complete anyway.

A 'DONE' badge appears on the room card and a celebration modal shows your stats.

  4. 4

If you change your mind, tap 'Reopen this room' from the same screen.
